These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the www.fotogrids.com website, including our documentation, blog, support forms, and account areas (together, the “Site”). By using the Site, you agree to these Terms.
In these Terms, “FotoGrids“, “we“, “us“, and “our” refer to the FotoGrids gallery plugin and website, operated by Mark Rean as an individual. You can reach us at hello@fotogrids.com.
1. How these Terms fit with our other policies
These Terms cover the Site itself. Separate documents cover specific activities, and where they overlap with these Terms, the more specific document applies:
- The FotoGrids plugin (Free and Pro) is licensed under the Product Terms (EULA).
- Purchases, billing, and refunds are covered by Payments & Refunds.
- The affiliate program is covered by the Affiliate Terms & Policy.
- Personal data is covered by the Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live, to make purchases through the Site or enter into these Terms on behalf of a business. If you use the Site on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you have authority to bind it.
3. Accounts
Purchasing FotoGrids Pro creates a customer account with Freemius, our Merchant of Record, where you manage licenses, invoices, and subscriptions. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for activity that happens under your account. Tell us promptly at hello@fotogrids.com if you suspect unauthorised access.
4. Intellectual property
The Site and its content — text, documentation, images, design, and the code of the Site itself — are owned by us or our licensors. You may read, link to, and quote reasonable excerpts of our documentation and blog with attribution. You may not republish substantial portions of the Site, scrape it at scale, or present our content as your own.
The FotoGrids plugin code is licensed separately under the Product Terms (EULA), including its GPL terms. Nothing in these Terms restricts rights you hold under the GPL.
“FotoGrids” and the FotoGrids logo are our trademarks. You may refer to FotoGrids by name in reviews, tutorials, and articles. You may not use the name or logo in a way that suggests endorsement or affiliation we haven’t agreed to, or register domains, social handles, or product names confusingly similar to ours.
5. Acceptable use
When using the Site, you agree not to:
- break the law, infringe anyone’s rights, or upload malicious code;
- attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Site, other users’ accounts, or our systems;
- interfere with the Site’s operation, including by overloading, flooding, or spamming it;
- scrape, harvest, or collect data about other users;
- misrepresent who you are or your affiliation with anyone.
6. Support requests and feedback
When you contact support or send us feedback, ideas, or suggestions, you give us the right to use them to operate and improve FotoGrids without obligation or compensation. Don’t send us anything confidential — support channels are not a confidential relationship. We may edit or remove content you post in public areas of the Site (such as comments) if it is unlawful, abusive, or off-topic.
7. Documentation and content on the Site
We work to keep documentation, guides, and blog posts accurate and current, but they are provided for general information. Details can become outdated as WordPress, browsers, and FotoGrids itself change. The Site’s content is not professional advice.
8. Third-party links
The Site links to third-party websites and services — for example Freemius, WordPress.org, and tools mentioned in our documentation. We don’t control them and aren’t responsible for their content or practices.
9. Disclaimer
The Site is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Site. Our total liability for claims relating to the Site is limited to the greater of (a) the amounts you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose and (b) USD 100. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
11. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify us against claims, damages, and reasonable costs arising from your breach of these Terms or your unlawful use of the Site.
12. Termination
You can stop using the Site at any time. We may suspend or terminate access to the Site (or parts of it, such as commenting or support forms) if you materially breach these Terms. Termination of Site access does not by itself affect a paid plugin license, which is governed by the Product Terms and Payments & Refunds.
13. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date above shows the latest revision. For material changes we will give reasonable notice on the Site. Continued use of the Site after a change takes effect means you accept the updated Terms.
14. General
If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of it. These Terms, together with the documents they reference, are the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Site.

The FotoGrids plugin is licensed under the Product Terms (EULA). Purchases of FotoGrids Pro are processed by Freemius as Merchant of Record — Freemius’s privacy policy and terms apply to purchases in addition to these Terms.
