FotoGrids 1.1.3 brings right-to-left support to every admin screen, plus a big batch of fixes across the Lightbox, sharing, defaults, caching and more.

FotoGrids 1.1.3 is out. Every admin screen now works in right-to-left languages, and the release carries a big batch of fixes and improvements across the Lightbox, sharing, gallery defaults, caching and security. There are twelve changes you can see, and plenty of tidying underneath.

An admin that reads right to left

Every FotoGrids admin screen now mirrors properly in Hebrew, Arabic and other right-to-left languages. Toggles, sliders, drawers, menus and popovers all follow the direction of the page, so the plugin feels native on an RTL site. If you would like FotoGrids in your own language, anyone can help translate it on translate.wordpress.org.

A big batch of fixes and improvements

The Lightbox now serves the image size you set. A photo already smaller than the Lightbox image max width is shown at its original size, and phones get a lighter mobile version of the same image. If you change the size later, the Media settings link straight to Regenerate Thumbnails, Regenerate All works through every image in the list, and rebuilt sizes reach cached galleries right away.

New galleries and albums now start with the choices you saved in Settings > Defaults. A default password is stored encrypted, the same way a password on an individual gallery is.

LinkedIn, WhatsApp, Telegram and Reddit share buttons now open their share window and count in your statistics, alongside Facebook, X, Pinterest, email and copy link. The Lightbox Zoom Trigger setting applies the trigger you pick, and Mini Lightbox padding, Preload Next Page and Show Album Name on Button keep the values you save.

The SEO checkup in the item editor now flags titles copied from camera filenames such as DSC_1234. On sites running Redis or Memcached, cached galleries refresh on the schedule you set.

Gallery view permissions are stricter: every restricted setting now requires at least a logged-in visitor. Uninstalling removes saved templates and review-prompt data too, unless you have chosen to keep your data.

The full list is on the changelog, and what comes next is on the roadmap.
